MY STORY
Working as a caretaker is what I'm most passionate about and something that comes naturally to me. I grew up babysitting kids and got my first job at Friendship Village, a nursing home, where I started working as a waitress. After getting my license as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), I stayed at Friendship Village and transitioned into the healthcare side of things.Â
After working as a CNA for four years, I received an opportunity to work as a nanny full-time for a family with three kids who were four, two, and three months old. I spent five years with this family and consider myself very lucky to have been such a big part of their lives - getting to help raise them and watch them grow up into such great kids was the most rewarding part of the job.
Starting a daycare has been a long-term goal of mine as I have a passion for childcare and have always wanted to run my own business. Though I don't have kids yet, this will also provide me with the opportunity to have them home with me in the future.
